Les Petits Coins - Where are we???
We
are situated mid-way between Royan
& Bordeaux and about 5 miles inland from the Gironde estuary (which is
visible from our grounds). The blue circle in the picture below shows where we
are in France - click on the map to show expanded views zooming into our locale

We

Suggested
travel routes are:
St
Malo Ferry
- By road from St Malo it’s almost
all motorway and is a drive of about 4 hours in one hop. On
a big map of France the route is pretty clear:
St
Malo/Rennes/Nantes/Niort then past Saintes towards Bordeaux. Leave the motorway
at junction 37 (Mirambeau) and turn left towards Royan on the D730, then see the
“How to find us” map.
Calais Ferry or Chunnel - It is quite a hike from Calais but lots of people do it. Take the motorway to Paris and then follow the signs (carefully!) on the motorway system to Bordeaux. Keep following these until you are on the A10 past Saintes. Leave the motorway at junction 37 (Mirambeau) and turn left towards Royan on the D730, then see the “How to find us” map below.
Other
Channel Ports -
too numerous to mention but from most ports you will join up with the St Malo
route above.
Bordeaux, La Rochelle or Poitiers fly-drive - cheap flights from Stanstead, to either Poitiers or La Rochelle with Ryanair and from Birmingham or Nottingham to Bordeaux with BMIbaby & EasyJet. Other airlines/deals also possible with Air France, BA etc.
HOW
TO FIND US
Leave A10 motorway at exit 37.......................MIRAMBEAU
Turn
left at junction after motorway toll station onto D730 (Direction ROYAN)

Take left turn onto D147 (sign-posted to SEMILLAC)
Road bends to right and is sign-posted to SEMOUSSAC
After Semillac, road bends to left and you will pass
over the motorway.
After passing cemetery on right, turn left at
crossroads into SEMOUSSAC village.
If you travel on the N137 instead of the A10 motorway, turn right at the roundabout in Mirambeau (D730 towards Royan) and then follow above instructions from **
